While there is currently an abundance of thriving yeshiva athletic leagues, we have been approached countless times over the past six years regarding a yeshiva high school flag football league by students, teachers, parents, and administrators. A yeshiva flag football league would provide yeshiva students with an opportunity to play America's most popular sport in an organized fashion while fostering teamwork among classmates and bolstering camaraderie between local yeshivas... Flag football is a uniquely competitive, teamwork-oriented, popular, fun and safe sport that has recently made its impact on the yeshiva world scene. We believe that it would be a welcome addition to the already robust number of high school leagues. To our knowledge, an organized football league has never existed in the yeshiva high school scene, and we are confident that it will become a mainstay in the world of yeshiva high school athletics.
