MY PATH UNFOLDING

During her education she completed pre-practicum experiences at a men's residential substance abuse recovery facility, and volunteered with Equality Florida to advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ+ citizens of Florida. Kristy had her practicum and internship counseling training at The Zebra Coalition. The Zebra Coalition is a non-profit organization helping LGBTQ+ youth age 13-24 in the Central Florida area with a continuum of services including case management, counseling, housing, and a multitude of other needs... Kristy has experience and training in working with the LGBTQ+ community, children, teens, and young adults, couples and families, mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, teaching coping skills, career counseling, increasing self-esteem, self-worth, and self-efficacy, those with trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, people living with HIV / AIDS, and people going through life changes.
