Macpherson Kelley - After an initial strategy assignment for the Macpherson + Kelly, Rob was asked to join the firm to oversee the implementation of this strategy, including the creation of "one firm" nationally from 5 autonomous subsidiaries, the establishment of a world class shared services capability and the remediation of the firm's IT environment.
HWL Ebsworth - Rob was the Chief Operating Officer at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers for eleven years. During his tenure at HWL Ebsworth, he drove substantial growth in firm through a series of mergers and lateral appointments, transforming it from a four-partner Melbourne based practice to a national firm with over 100 partners. The business model developed during this time is still employed by HWL and set it up to become Australia's largest law firm.
