How often are we living in the past and not embracing the now. Research states how our brains are wired for negativity; therefore, if we continue to hold onto a past of bitterness, hatred, anger, or resentment, in the end, we will only destroy ourselves mentally and physically. Hanging onto such emotions depletes the immune system and can take years off our lives. It is easier said than done sometimes, but take Elsa's advice and Let it Go. As a quote from a character in, The Authenticity Project says, "The past is history. The future is a mystery. Today is a gift." Wake up each day full of gratitude and understanding that our thoughts/beliefs greatly influence how the day plays out, how we will interact with others, and how much damage we do to ourselves with our inner dialogue.
