Welcome H(om)e. Circular forms are found throughout nature, and it seems that this shape calms and protects it's inhabitants. A yurt, or Ger as it is known on the steppes of central Asia has a long tradition of providing shelter to the nomadic tribes and cultures of the region. A powerful design, using circles, triangles, compression and gravity to create an amazing and resilient structure. For over 3,000 years this amazing structure has been used as a travelling dwelling, first recorded by Herodotus who lived in Greece AD 484. Now you can own a bit of history with a handcrafted, custom yurt built in the same tradition as the nomads.
