SCIVET has developed a set of tools that support a structured approach to planning and implementing VET projects internationally. The SCIVET tools are used by German experts from the skilled crafts organisation in advising countries that are interested in establishing their own dual VET structures. They are based on the German skilled craft sector's systemic quality standards for international VET cooperation. Using the comprehensive analysis and planning tools developed in the SCIVET project, German experts and non-German partners can identify specific local training needs. Likewise, they help determine which existing local institutions and businesses should be involved in the planning and implementation processes.
