Shared Space seeks to connect local and regional communities to a broader national dialogue. We host exhibitions and arts events to strengthen the critical dialogue within contemporary art in the South. We are committed to inviting artists to develop projects outside of a commercial setting and engage the Chattanooga community through exhibitions and related events hosted in our shared temporary residence alongside our studios. We propose trust as the currency for community building in opposition to a commercial model of the art market.
