Sidegate is an inclusive school. Our pupils have a broad range of abilities and backgrounds. They begin their journey with us in Reception (EYFS) - the academic year* in which they are 5 years old and finish with us in Year 6 - the academic year in which they turn 11. In addition to our mainstream classes, we have a Specialist Education Unit (SEU) which consists of two classes which provide specialist education for pupils with a range of complex needs... Our school ethos is exemplified in the words "seize opportunity, create success" and we work hard to ensure that this is embedded in the daily life of the school. We offer a broad, rich curriculum to our pupils alongside a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities.
