He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt in addition to having his Lean Applied to Business Processes certification.

A tenured Professor of Management Science and Six Sigma Master Black Belt at the University of Miami, Dr. Gitow also serves as the Executive Director of the Institute for the Study of Quality. He brings a wealth of experience to the firm with over 40 years of experience in the areas of quality, statistics and management consulting working with many Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries. An author or coauthor of 16 books and more than 60 academic articles, he has had the honor of being a visiting professor at both the Stern School of Business at New York University and at The Science University of Tokyo. Gitlow is also a Fellow of the American Society for Quality, and a Member of the American Statistical Association.
