Voice for Ethical Research at Oxford is a University-based campaign which continues a long tradition of protest within the University against the use of animals in its laboratories. Through talks, events, publications, and other media it promotes awareness of the shameful history and bad ethics of vivisection, within the University and beyond. VERO admires and supports medical research, and therefore wishes to see it freed from the disgrace of making weaker animals suffer on behalf of humans.
