West Cumbria Solar is the local subsidiary of the larger Anglo-German solar power group Sun4net Ltd/GmbH, which has developed and built more than 40 megawatts of solar projects in recent years, both roof-mounted and ground-mounted... We have a partnership with West Cumbria Mining under which we would supply huge quantities of green solar electricity to the new Woodhouse Colliery at Whitehaven from an adjacent site, itself a former open cast mine.
