W&O was established by Bill Weedon (the 'W') and Percy Oberman (the 'O') as an engineering firm in the early 1970s. In 1975, Herbert E. Goelz purchased the company, retained the name and began supplying ships and shipyards in Jacksonville, Florida, with piping products. Since then, W&O has expanded its products and territories and is now one of the world's largest suppliers of pipe, valves, fittings, engineered products and automation to the marine and upstream oil and gas industries... W&O is a wholly owned subsidiary of PON Holdings B.V. of the Netherlands.
