My approach to therapy is client-centered, which means that the counseling process is dictated by the needs of each client and the particular changes someone wants to make in their life. I do not believe that therapy is a "one-size fits all" process. I draw on different clinical approaches depending on your specific needs and circumstances. Some of the evidence-based therapeutic approaches I draw from include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), attachment theory, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness theory and practice... I foster a therapeutic space that is sex-positive, queer friendly, trauma-informed and embraces an anti-oppression framework.
