CLARE MITCHELL

Clare brings a wealth of diverse experience to the Yellow Tree team as our Operations Manager. With a strong background in event management, where she organised high-profile events across the UK. Clare transitioned into the construction industry overseeing the administrative function of a varied office-based team. Joining us in 2024, Clare infuses our busy office with her energetic, can-do attitude and manages a varied portfolio of projects.

ED MARSH

Ed graduated from Durham University in 2011 with a degree in Physics and shortly afterwards undertook a Masters in Real Estate at London South Bank University. Ed qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in May 2016. Prior to joining Yellow Tree Capital in January 2017, Ed worked at Savills for three years as a member of the South East Development team undertaking valuation, land agency and development consultancy. As Development Manager he will be responsible for sourcing, analysing and managing funding and joint-venture development opportunities for Yellow Tree Capital. Outside of work Ed is a keen rugby player and plays for his local team, Dorking RFC.

JAMES GADSDON

James started his career in 2013 as a Quantity Surveyor and moved sideways into Development. He completed his Masters Degree at Henley Business School in Real Estate Investment & Finance and went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor through the ‘Planning and Development' pathway. Prior to joining Yellow Tree Capital, James spent 8 years at Rydon Construction working on residential regeneration projects in London. He then worked for Thakeham Partnerships as a front-end Development Manager. James joined Yellow Tree in June 2022 as Development Manager and is responsible for site acquisitions, overseeing planning applications and the delivery and management of joint-venture development projects.

JAMIE PUTMAN

Jamie joined Yellow Tree Capital in 2024 from a well-known accountancy firm, where he honed his skills across diverse accounting functions, demonstrating his dedication and ambition along the way. Jamie is responsible for managing the finance function and providing high-quality management information crucial to the team's success.

JEMIMA DALTON - CFO

Jemima grew up in Sevenoaks and started her career at West Kent Housing Association as a Finance Assistant. Whilst employed there Jemima attended the Financial Training Company in London and qualified as an Accountant in 2008. Jemima worked at West Kent Housing Association for 12 years gaining a wealth of experience in housing finance and becoming a key member of the senior finance team. Jemima joined Yellow Tree Capital as Finance Director in September 2020. She is responsible for managing the finance function and providing high quality management information to the managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.

JONATHAN BATEMAN

Jonathan was born and brought up in the Lake District, before graduating from St Andrews University in Economics, Management, IT and Geography. He went on to join DTZ Residential, initially working in the residential market but shortly after focused on the new build sector. After developing a strong client base, he moved to Savills in Sevenoaks to establish their new homes operation in Surrey, Sussex and Kent. After 10 years of service he had created the largest Savills new homes operation outside of London, with a dominant market share and one of the company's best profit margins. Jonathan met Simon as he built his own property portfolio within the local area, and left Savills in 2013 to start Yellow Tree Capital, where he is a shareholder.

LILLIE PRIMROSE

Having grown up in the Sevenoaks area, Lillie then went to university in Bristol where she gained a degree in Business Studies, before moving to London to spend the following 8 years working in a number of marketing roles. Lillie joined the Yellow Tree team in April 2021, and as Sales and Marketing Manager she works largely on joint venture developments in addition to the company's own brand.

SIMON MILES

As a qualified chartered accountant, Simon has always had a head for figures. He joined the Inchcape motor group shortly after qualifying, and after a successful spell as Divisional Director of their BMW dealer group he moved to Porsche to take on the role of Group Financial Director for their UK retail network. In 1996 an opportunity arose to join his brother in expanding the family business, a successful waste management enterprise. Together they were able to not only grow the business, but also diversify, resulting in the successful sale to a major operator. Simon now has interests and investments in a recycling business based in East Anglia, alongside a civil engineering and surfacing firm in London. He is also an active shareholder in Yellow Tree Capital.
