Chad Newton serves as the Alpha West Regional Sales Manager, overseeing territories in the Pacific Northwest, Idaho, Western Montana, and Hawaii. With a wealth of experience in sales and a deep understanding of the pool and spa industry, Chad has consistently demonstrated his expertise and dedication.

Frank Quiros is the Alpha West Regional Sales Manager for Southern California, focusing on Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Kern, and San Luis Obispo counties.
He got his start in the distribution sector of the pool industry in 1990 before joining the Alpha West team in 2020. His experience in distribution has served him well, as it taught him the importance of a synced relationship between pool store managers, manufacturers, and representatives.
He is passionate about not only fostering the current relationships Alpha West has established over the years, but also building new relationships in the international market. As the sole fluent Spanish-speaker on the Alpha West team, one of Frank's goals is expanding and exploring international territories and communities, and connecting with untapped audiences in the pool and spa industry.
Frank believes that he and his team are the best pool manufacturer reps in the industry because they are dependable, cohesive, and communicative. They are resourceful and will do everything they can to find solutions to problems manufacturers and pool professionals face every day.
In his spare time, Frank loves swimming and going to the beach, going out in nature, and playing Scrabble.

Joe Horner is the Alpha West Regional Sales Manager for Southern California, focusing on Orange County, San Diego County and the South Bay.
Prior to joining the Alpha West team, in 2008, Joe gained a wealth of experience working for the largest hot tub control manufacturer, Balboa Instruments. During his time there, he learned just what a pool and spa manufacturer needed from a sales representative to get their product in the hands of industry professionals. He now strives to provide that as a representative himself.
As a pool & spa manufacturer rep, Joe always makes it easy to communicate and keep pool & spa professionals informed with product knowledge and factual, up-to-date information on the pool and spa industry. He believes this ongoing exchange builds a foundation of trust between the manufacturers, industry professionals, and the Alpha West team. His goal is to continue to build upon the mutual trust and customer satisfaction Alpha West has consistently delivered since the beginning. He hopes to keep up that tradition for the long haul.
In his spare time, Joe loves traveling with his family, going to the mountains to snowboard and ski, and watching his two sons play sports.

Prior to working with Alpha West Marketing Group, he managed three stores for Leslie's Pool Supplies and later worked as a retail, marketing, and commercial manager for Johnson Pool & Spa in Windsor, California. With this past work experience, Korey benefited from working on the other side of the counter and got an inside look into the pool and spa industry. He learned what a pool professional needs from an effective sales representative and the best solutions for problems pool professionals and pool owners deal with in real life. He saw how the sales path is harbored and fostered, and how important it is to connect to the individual and understand the human experience side of business.
Korey's past work experience led him to be the goal-oriented, highly-focused regional manager he is today. He believes in being completely honest-you may not always like what he has to say, but you can always trust that it is the truth. And he will always go the extra mile to ensure that his customers will get the products and solutions they need for their businesses to thrive.
In his spare time, Korey enjoys spending time with his family, learning new things, and fishing.

Paul Matthews is president and owner of the Alpha West Marketing Group, he oversees all of the operations of the group.
Paul comes from a background of construction in Boston, Massachusetts, where he drove sales and estimated pool, hot tub, and residential construction projects. Paul and his young family moved to California in 1985 and began a new venture as the California regional manager for Leisure Time Chemicals. Paul joined Ron Dawes and Tim Dougherty at Alpha West Marketing in 1986 as the southwest regional manager. He was responsible for sales and company growth in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. Paul and Time went on to purchase Alpha West Marketing Group in January 2000.
As an independent representative of the pool and spa industry, Paul has always believed that it is about building and nurturing trusted relationships. Problem-solving is a big part of that relationship and trust-building. Paul and his team strive to be a true asset of the professional customers in the pool and spa industry and the elite manufacturers they represent.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys boating, skiing, and weekends at the beach with his wife, son, daughter and her family. He also has a wonderful granddaughter, and she is in complete control of him.

Sean Linderman is the Alpha West Regional Sales Manager of San Bernardino, Riverside, and Imperial counties in Southern California.
He has been in the pool industry his whole life, starting in pool retail and service, and eventually expanding to pool repair, pool installation and construction, wholesale distribution, branch and regional management, lead tech support, operation management, pool manufacturing…he's really done it all. Over the years, he has established strong relationships and earned plenty of trust and respect from people on all sides of the pool industry.
The key element to his relationships with pool manufacturers, distributors, and pool professionals is communication. Sean always provides technical and wise information on the pool products Alpha West represents and even those they don't. He is always ready to offer valuable, applicable advice for manufacturers to improve their products. He also understands a wide variety of product lines that aren't available to consumers, whether they're too small or not available in certain distribution centers. His goal with Alpha West is to continue to foster and build on those relationships with manufacturers and pool professionals by providing true, factual information that will help their pool businesses grow.
Sean is married with 3 kids and enjoys doing a variety of outdoor activities like going to the beach and visiting Yosemite. In his spare time, he plays paintball and still plays for a divisional team.
Tim Dougherty joined Alpha West Marketing in 1983. Tim got his start in the pool industry as a teenager building pools, a job that he continued with throughout his college years. This start gave Tim a real working knowledge of the needs of our customers on a day-to-day basis.
When the pool industry began to grow in the '80s, Tim Dougherty and Paul Matthews saw a great need for strong manufacturer representation to help the many new retail stores, construction companies, and wholesale distributors adjust to the changing pool industry. The Alpha West team not only understood those businesses' needs but also understood how our manufacturer's pool products needed to be used and promoted in this emerging marketplace.

Prior to working with Alpha West, Todd spent 12 years working for Leslie's Pool Supplies as a commercial regional manager, and joined Alpha West 10 years ago. He is also a certified pool operator instructor. Equipped with this experience and knowledge, Todd understands the needs of both pool industry professionals and manufacturers.
As a pool manufacturer rep, Todd strives to promote continued pool product success with thorough training. He has seen the benefit of thorough training sessions, as he is able to answer questions customers have about products and understand their application in a real-life scenario. This in turn allows him to send feedback to manufacturers on how they can better improve their products for continued growth and success.
Todd and his wife of 38 years have two children and one grandchild. In his spare time, he enjoys off-roading and biking with his family.
Todd Schwab currently serves as the Alpha West Regional Sales Manager of Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.
