St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Saturday School was founded in 1956 under the auspices of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Toronto. It is the oldest Armenian language school in Toronto. Currently in its 68th academic year, the school is a vibrant educational institution. The 2021/2022 enrolment was 276 students. Many of these students are the children of alumni of the School... We continue collaborating with the Toronto District School Board. Together, we work towards providing our students a positive and a supportive learning environment where they could develop their learning capacities... The curriculum is developed by Armenian educators. We continually strive to improve our teaching materials and methods employing interactive, collaborative, and project-based styles of teaching. Classroom instructions focus on Armenian language oral communication, reading, comprehension, and writing. Students are taught the Armenian language, history, geography, music, religion, and culture...
