Alex Brozek

Alex Brozek serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations, where he strategically manages operations, facilities, and office administration across the EMEA and APAC regions. Additionally, he holds global responsibility for IT, Technical Support, and Operational systems/services. He joined Transoft Solutions in 2010 and spent the next decade contributing to the company's growth strategy in the EMEA market. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President, EMEA, Alex was responsible for the EMEA sales & marketing team and overseeing operations to improve business processes, policies, procedures, and controls to meet EMEA regulatory requirements. Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and 20 years of experience in civil engineering software. He spent significant time working for Ing. Hubert Mader Gmbh in Austria and is a graduate of the IT School of H&K Private Academy GmbH.

Ben van Leest

Ben van Leest oversees all three of Transoft's business units. He joined when Transoft Solutions when Simtra was acquired in 2014, and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Aviation in 2019 to direct an expanding aviation team operating in several cities across the world. Ben was responsible for merging AeroTURN and PathPlanner into AviPLAN. In 2016, he was tasked with taking the ArcPORT technology on board and two years later, he led the acquisition and subsequent integration of the Airtopsoft company, including their renowned AirTOP fast time simulation software. Ben graduated as a Civil Engineer (M.Sc.) from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands and is member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Aircraft/Airport Compatibility Committee, AV070.

Christian Milne

Chris Milne is responsible for the global development and strategic initiatives for Transoft Solutions' core software, infrastructure, and interface platforms. He leads a team that oversees product strategy, product management, research & development, engineering, UX design and technical support. Since joining Transoft Solutions in 2005, Chris has held a variety of progressive management roles until he was appointed Vice President, Software Development in 2017. He holds a B.Sc. from Simon Fraser University.

Daniel Shihundu - CEO

Daniel Shihundu joined Transoft Solutions in 2007 as a Senior Civil Engineer, where he established Transoft's first Product Management team and was quickly promoted within the company. He has held various positions at Transoft including Senior Vice President of Civil & Transportation, and most recently, President. Daniel was appointed to CEO in 2023 and is responsible for overseeing the company's revenue-generating operations, developing company strategies and goals, executing mergers and acquisitions and sustaining the company's culture. Daniel is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada and South Africa with over 20 years' experience in the engineering consulting sector in Africa and Canada. He is a graduate of the University of Nairobi and holds an M.B.A. from the School of Management at the University of the Free State in South Africa.

Janette Stoeken

Janette Stoeken joined Transoft's senior leadership team in November 2022, bringing over 20 years of progressive HR experience from a variety of industries that include manufacturing, media, financial services and hospitality. Recognized as a strategic and collaborative business leader, Janette is accountable for the People side of Transoft's business model, which includes the design and delivery of talent strategies and solutions that optimize the employee experience and drive business results. Janette holds a BSc in Psychology, is a designated CPHR and is Lean Blackbelt certified.

Karen Giese

Karen Giese joined Transoft Solutions in 2021, bringing 20+ years of transportation experience to the team. Her career has spanned from the highly technical to the managerial and business aspects of the transportation industry. With a highly external focus, she is responsible for developing business and strategizing growth for the US market. Karen is a Professional Engineer in the US and holds an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from Iowa State University. She is active in industry associations, including ITE, ITS America, and TRB. She also sits on the Seattle Regional Mobility Innovation Center Advisory Committee, which encompasses government and industry leaders from the greater Seattle region.

Mark Rodrigues

Mark Rodrigues joined Transoft Solutions in 2022 as Director of Business Development, Aviation and was promoted to Vice President, Aviation in 2023. He is responsible for the strategic direction and business development of the Aviation business unit. Mark brings over 25 years of aviation industry experience to Transoft and has held roles with a wide variety of industry partners dealing with projects and initiatives at airports and locations across the globe. Prior to joining Transoft, Mark worked for the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Star Alliance and Lufthansa Consulting. He holds a M.Sc in Airport Planning & Management from Loughborough University, England and a Hons. B.A. from the University of Toronto, Canada.

Milton Carrasco - Chairman, Founder

Milton Carrasco is the co-Founder and Chair of Transoft Solutions. In 1991, the company launched AutoTURN which was borne from his master's thesis "Computerized Vehicle-Turning Simulation: An Interactive Application". Milton spent 15 years working as a transportation engineer at several engineering consulting firms. His engineering experience includes the design of a variety of transportation infrastructure including freeways and expressways, traffic impact studies and numerous other transportation planning projects. He has been a member of the Geometric Design Committees at both, the Transportation Association of Canada and the Transportation Research Board. Over the years, through his involvement, Milton has helped strengthen Canada's ties to leading international agencies such as AASHTO, FHWA, and Austroads. Milton holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK and completed his M.Eng. at the University of Calgary, Alberta. He was the recipient of the 2020 BIV CEO Award and 2022 UCalgary Career Achievement Award.

Patrick Sutherland

Patrick Sutherland is responsible for Transoft Solutions' Americas regional growth strategy, customer retention program, and sales process improvements for North and Latin America. He leads the sales and marketing team focused on providing value to both new and existing civil engineering organizations. Before joining Transoft Solutions in 2018, Patrick held various sales leadership positions at Seagate Software, Crystal Decisions, Business Objects, SAP and Maximizer. He holds a B.Com. with a Major in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.

Peter McIntyre

Peter McIntyre is responsible for Transoft Solutions' global sales and marketing teams. In his prior position as Senior VP, Asia Pacific, Peter oversaw the go-to-market, business development, and strategic direction for the region. He is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of sales, marketing and operations experience in software and technologies. Before joining Transoft Solutions in 2006, Peter held positions at SingTel Optus and Autodesk. He holds a B.App.Sc. in Environmental Design from University of Canberra, M.Des.Sc. (Design Computing) from the University of Sydney and GradDip (Business) from Deakin University.

Robyn Kruger

Robyn Kruger joined Transoft Solutions in 2015 as Vice President, Finance. With over 20 years of investment banking and financial consulting experience, he is responsible for all aspects of Transoft's financial management including financial reporting, planning & analysis, finance operations, and taxation. Robyn works closely with the Executive Team in areas such as market analysis, corporate processes, mergers & acquisitions, privacy and compliance. Prior to joining Transoft, Robyn held various senior management positions in both the private and public sectors including JP Morgan. He is a CPA, CMA and holds a B.A., and an M.B.A. from the Henley Business School (University of Reading).

Steven Chan

Steven Chan joined Transoft Solutions in 2007 and has been instrumental in the expansion of the civil product portfolio. He was appointed Vice President, Civil and Transportation in 2020 with the overall responsibility for driving the product vision, including the innovation, strategy, roadmap and overall product portfolio management. Mr. Chan participates in the committees of the Transportation Research Board, and Transportation Association of Canada. Steven previously worked as an engineer at Westmar Consultants. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Northern British Columbia.

Steven Cheng - COO

Steven Cheng joined Transoft Solutions in 1998. He was appointed to Vice President, Software Development and Technology in 2005 and Chief Operating Officer in 2016. He has 35 years' experience in software development and a proven track record in advance software design, research and development, and management of technology companies. Steven is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business and its subsidiaries. He also establishes policies that promote company culture and vision. Steven holds a B.Sc. from University of British Columbia and M.Math. from University of Waterloo.
