CHRISTOPHER MACKIN

Chris is the founder and President of Ownership Associates of Cambridge, MA. He has worked professionally in the field of employee ownership for thirty-five years. Chris is a frequent speaker in both the United States and Europe to groups interested in issues of corporate governance and organizational change and a regular media contributor on the topic of employee ownership. After graduating from Georgetown University, Chris served as a Sidney Harman Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He later completed a Doctorate in Human Development from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He serves as a Lecturer at the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations teaching a full semester course on employee ownership.

David C. LIGHT

David is a founding member of American Working Capital working in AWC's Chicago office. Prior to co-founding AWC, he was a Managing Director at Duff & Phelps, LLC, and a Director at Valuemetrics Advisors, Inc. David has more than 20 years of financial advisory experience and has managed a wide variety of corporate finance transactions and advisory engagements for both public and private company owners, Boards of Directors and Trustees. David has designed transactions ranging from acquisitions of companies and divisions by employee managers through the use of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) to advising family shareholders on going private. David has developed new methods for quantifying the cash flow and valuation impact of repurchase liability for ESOP companies, and has advised companies on how to proactively adjust their operations and capital structures to best meet their repurchase obligations. He has presented these new methods through seminars at the ESOP Association's Annual Repurchase Liability Conference, at various Chapter seminars, and at a variety of National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) seminars and workshops. David has written many articles regarding ESOPs on topics ranging from quantifying the ESOP repurchase liability to measuring the benefit of diversification. He co-authored a paper on how to value S-Corporation ESOPs that has been adopted by the ESOP Associations Valuation Committee. He received his BA in Economics from Princeton University, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and his MBA with Honors in Finance from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

JASON S. ROSENThAL

Jason is a founding member of American Working Capital working in AWC's New York office where he is active in originating and managing AWC's private investments and advising select clients. Prior to founding AWC, Jason was an Investment Professional at The Yucaipa Companies, a multi-billion dollar investment fund. At Yucaipa, Jason focused on originating and executing buyout and growth capital investments across a variety of industries. Prior to Yucaipa, Jason was a Vice President at a boutique investment bank where he led transactional assignments across a multitude of industry segments. Earlier in his career, Jason was a Senior Associate at Valuemetrics Advisors, Inc., where he advised management teams and institutional trustees on a range of topics including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, valuation and strategic financial advisory with a specific emphasis on ESOPs. Jason graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in economics and received an M.B.A. with dean's honors from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University where he is a regular guest lecturer on the topic of ESOP's and corporate governance. Jason is currently a board member of Geokinetics.
