"Just Landed" is the visual representation of when people would Tweet "Just landed in ____!", and it culminated that data in a manner that was able to illustrate that data live. The way in which he decided to depict this is by putting by a flatly colored world, and illustrating the flight connections through the parabolic illustration in a starkly contrasted line from starting point to ending point. This in itself is a visually stimulating data representation technique because of the uniqueness - rather than relying on producing a graph about what was happening, he made it a tangible illustration of what was happening, drawing the eye to the very different places and times that it is tweeted.
