Established in 1995, the Canadian Association of Wound Care (CAWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing skin health and wound management in Canada. Under the banner of Wounds Canada, the organization is a leader in moving the latest evidence into the public domain to support best practices in skin- and wound-related care to improve the lives of all Canadians... Our partners in action are patients, caregivers, health-care providers, researchers, advocates, policy makers, industry folk and donors. Not only do we educate and advocate, but we also drive change and build community. We can imagine a future where the average person sees skin health as a holistic and important aspect of their health care.
