Karen is the first point of contact at DeRouen Financial Management and keeps the entire team inline and on task. She has worked with us for over 40 years and is like family. Karen has extensive experience as a legal and financial assistant and all of our clients love her pleasant smile and willingness to help with any task. When not at work, Karen enjoys shopping and spending time with her husband and family, especially her three grandchildren.
Lynn is the founder of the firm and the father of lead advisor Michelle. He serves in a support role for client meetings, financial planning questions, and matters requiring legal advice. He is an attorney and a CFP®, CLU, and the holder of security and insurance licenses. Lynn is well known in our community for his roles in musical theater, including the lead roles of Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, and Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha.

Michelle is the lead financial advisor and President of the firm. With a fun personality and a keen ear for clients' concerns, she makes clients comfortable when discussing their dreams and concerns. Michelle takes care of our mascot Preston the Pig and insures that he is always appropriately dressed for all special occasions. She spends her free time travelling, volunteering in the community and being a personal servant to her baby cats, Karnak and Sazerac. Michelle holds a M.B.A. with a financial specialization, is a Certified Senior Advisor, and holds security and insurance licenses.
