Joseph Silvanus - Managing Director

Joseph heads Dolma Consulting, the advisory arm of Dolma Group. He uses his deep insights and experience in Nepal to support the growth of Banking & Financial Institutions, Small and Medium enterprises, and Corporates in their tryst to become efficient and access capital markets. Joseph is a career banker having worked 27 years with ANZ Grindlays and thereafter with Standard Chartered Bank across various geographies. For the last eight years he was CEO Standard Chartered Bank in Nepal with additional governance responsibility of Afghanistan and Bhutan. He has deep working knowledge of financial markets in emerging markets, driving sovereign engagement around ratings advisory, public policy guidance and development of capital markets. He played a pivotal role working with Multilateral/ Bilateral agencies, Development Finance and socially responsible Investors, for directing specific program based support towards entities in ASEAN and South Asia. Joseph is recognized for his passion in creating funding vehicles for the microfinance sector and raising all-round stakeholder engagement & awareness for BOTP economics. His earlier stint as Country Head for Afghanistan, perhaps best portrays his values and commitment towards supporting development aid & reconstruction efforts. He practices transformational leadership, involving changing of mindset's, amply demonstrated in resurgence of the bank's franchise in Nepal. A TEDx speaker, he regularly shares best practise with regulators & Nepali entrepreneurship on risk management principles and corporate governance techniques. A proponent of free trade & investment as an engine of growth, he propagates best practice in International Trade & Investment flows through policy advocacy.

Kesh B Shahi

Kesh leads our practice for Fraud, Forensic Advisory, Security audits and Corporate Investigations. His vast experience, network and leverage allow him to provide timely, valuable insights and intelligence allowing companies to make well informed decisions. His case delivery record is without blemish; having dealt several criminal investigations, including cyber risk cases, whistle-blower cases, and has delivered justice each time. In his successful official career spanning 28 years, Kesh has served in several UN Missions at Mozambique, Sierra Leone and Haiti, overseeing humanitarian aid and community policing efforts. During the Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR) campaign in Nepal, he was a key senior functionary overseeing the peace process. Under his leadership, as President Asia Pacific Chapter, Nepal Police played host to FBI National Academy Associates Asia Pacific Chapter Conference 2014 in Kathmandu. Kesh continues to remain a key resource for FBI Academy Associates. He is the current Representative for South Asia at FBI NAA Asia Pacific Chapter. Training, capacity & community development remains his key passion and Kesh considerable time in up-skilling the forces both in Nepal and India.

Ravindra Kumar

As the Senior Regional Head - South Asia and Country Head India for Standard Bank (South Africa), Ravindra amassed a strong client portfolio for the bank, delivering landmark transactions in the Corporate Finance space. His illustrious banking experience includes seven years with the State Bank of India, one year with HDFC Bank, Mumbai as part of its start up team, seven years with ABN AMRO Bank as C&IB head of its western India region, three years with CALYON as India head of its C&IB business and three years as India head of ING Wholesale & Investment Banking business. Throughout his banking career he has been associated with a number of landmark structured finance, ECA backed loans, capital markets, M&A advisory and Debt Restructuring transactions both onshore and offshore for most of the large Indian corporate and Multi National Clients. He has also specialized in structured lending, project finance, equity raising, internationally syndicated loans and international trade finance to Corporates, Banks & FIs as well as SME sector. Many of his assignments include successful greenfield ventures or turn around projects. He also sat on Board of International Asset Reconstruction Company, India from 2009 to 2013 and was also a member of its Investment & Resolution Committee for stressed debt business. He also served on its Stressed Fund Investment Committee. He is a member of Advisory Board of SME Chamber of India as well as a director with India International Trade centre. He is an independent mentor, consultant and advisor on matters relating to M&A, risk management, project financing, raising resources, financial restructuring and international trade.

Tech. in Computer Science & Technology from India's premier institute (IIT Roorkee) in 1995, Tarun has been working with Fortune 500 clients across US, UK, Europe and APAC in adopting and realizing the true value of technology enabled business change. As CTO and Chief Architect, he had undertaken various initiative like setting up Enterprise Architecture Office, Innovation Forums, Technology Center of Excellence, Customer Experience Center, Aspiring Architect Learning program in collaboration with Industry leading firms, academic institutes and start-ups.
