The nature of working in a small firm, as I have for a while, necessitates being involved in every aspect of a project. Learning architecture on the job was essential. I have honed my craft and improved my competency with every new project. I have worked on every phase of my projects, from schematic design, design development, construction documentation, through construction administration. I have functioned as project manager, project designer, support to others, and managed multiple projects at one time. Being a good listener, gathering sources, and building relationships with suppliers and general contractors, has enabled me to give excellent service to our clients. Managing the client's expectations, as well as managing the projects is essential to what I do every day.
