Located on Hassler Road, at an elevation of roughly 2300 feet, our Placerville, California vineyard was originally peach, apple and nectarine orchards. The rich volcanic red Aiken Clay-loam soil & high elevation infuse our grapes with a longer ripening period, resulting in a balanced and nuanced flavor. The cool, rich climate of the Sierra Foothills moderates sugar and alcohol content but provides a strong varietal presence.
