Alanna Schenk

Alanna Schenk is a student studying International Relations with a minor in Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence at the University of Southern California. Her primary interests are in ecological security and human security, specifically related to the regions of Northern Europe and Africa. She is particularly interested in how geospatial technologies can be used to study and offer suggestions for humanitarian intervention and issues of human security. Specifically, she fascinated by how satellite and remote sensing can be used to improve documentation capabilities and research across the fields of human rights and humanitarian intervention. Furthermore, she is a research assistant for the Lab on Non-Democratic Politics at USC and has also spent time conducting field research in the Arctic. On campus, Alanna is a fellow with the Levan Institute of Humanities and Ethics, a Senator for the Undergraduate Student Government, and a member with USC's Teaching International Relations Program.

Bailee Ahern

Bailee Ahern has been the Director of Human Security for Global Intelligence since the summer of 2016. In this position, she strives to find the nexus of international affairs and human-interest stories. Outside of GIT, Bailee is a student at the University of Southern California, where she studies political science and international relations. Her research interests are varied. Bailee has spent time in Washington, D.C., studying nuclear non-proliferation and weapons of mass destruction; at the University of Oxford, researching humanitarian action and peacemaking; and on campus, assisting a professor with political-risk analysis of inter-state conflicts. Both the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review and the USC Journal of Law & Society have published her research. The one through line in all of Bailee's work is a passion for writing. Her column for the Daily Trojan--USC's only student-run newspaper--has become an invaluable outlet to engage her campus and a confluence of all her greatest passions--writing, politics, and social justice.

Bradley Woolf is a current Junior at the University of Southern California in the Marshall School of Business. He is majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and minoring in Real Estate and Development. Bradley has worked in both the real estate and financial sectors, where he interned at City National Bank as an underwriter, interned at Strategic Development Advisors, and most recently as a financial advisor for New York Life. He hopes to go into commercial real estate brokerage and is attempting to gain financial experience through Global Intelligence Trust.

Chadd Dunn

Chadd Dunn is a senior at the University of Southern California double majoring in business administration and international relations. He focuses mainly on international economics, defense, and counter-terrorism. In the summer of 2015, he spent the summer interning for European Geostrategy and studying European defense policy in Brussels. Chadd spent the proceeding summer in Washington D.C. completing defense research and interning for the U.S. House of Representatives. He is currently finishing his last semester at USC, and assisting with the USC Price Safe Communities Institute's 2000 Index; which gives intelligence updates to law enforcement agencies throughout the United States on home grown violent extremists.

Currently, Olivia is a senior at USC majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish. She is the President of USC Health Sciences Education Program, a student organization that seeks to inspire young students to pursue careers in STEM and to foster excitement about the sciences among K-12 students. For the past two years, Olivia has been conducting clinical research on sports injuries in conjunction with the Human Performance Lab at USC's physical therapy school, which is where her interest and experience in biomedical innovation comes from. In her free time, she loves reading about new medical technologies, volunteering at schools around USC, and cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder (her hometown team). After graduation, Olivia plans on going to medical school and eventually becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
