Gruene Soapworks was created out of a personal necessity: to provide cleansing yet gentle and healthy natural bath and body products for my husbands dry and damaged skin. My late husband battled cancer for several years. His treatments caused his skin to become very sensitive. His skin became easily irritated by the over-the-counter detergent, animal fat and petroleum-based soaps and moisturizers. After an exhaustive search for products free of these irritants, I decided to make it myself. Once I perfected the process, I began sharing the soap with friends and family. The soap was a hit!... We are Gruene Soapworks. Born out of the heart of the Central Texas Hill Country, our goal is to provide you with the absolute best bath and body products available today.
