HILL COUNTRY GLASS CREATIONS

In 2015, Ken Ferguson retired from 40 years as a Project Manager for a major oil company - but his passion had always been stained glass. He had wanted to learn the craft for most of his adult life, but just needed that extra "nudge" - which consisted of a suite of Christmas presents from his wife in 2008 made up almost entirely of stained glass tools and supplies. Living in Houston, TX at the time, he used his un-air-conditioned garage as his studio, so Ken's working season was limited to only a few months in the fall and spring, but even with this constraint, he managed to create over thirty pieces during his first couple of years.
