Maricon Electromechanical Contracting & Trading LLC was established in 2003, headquartered in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The company was initially established as a Marine imports and exports contracting company thereby getting its name as "MariCon", Mari - for marine and Con - for contracting. Due to failing business in marine contracting the company shifted its focus mainly to High Voltage Cable and Substation testing under the leadership of the current managing director, Mr. Syed Abu Suffian Arif. In the recent years, the company has diversified to the fields of Power Cable Installation, Substation works and Fibre Optic works extensively. The company has since then established a strong presence in the middle east with registered offices in Oman, Qatar and Jordan.
