Anna Bacon

Anna brings years of customer service experiece to Valley Orthodontics and a great capacity to care for all of our patients and their families. Anna manages most aspects of running the front office and helping our clients with appointment scheduling, office orientation, financial consultation, treatment planning and insurance claims. Anna grew up in Lucas Valley and graduated from Marin Catholic High School. She received her B.A. degree in communications from UC Santa Barbara, and returned to her hometown of San Rafael, to manage her family's business, Graffeo Coffee Roasting Company, at its locations in San Rafael and San Francisco's North Beach. Anna lives in Terra Linda with her husband Brian, and their twin daughters Lauren and Taylor, both of whom attend St. Isabella's School. Anna enjoys spending time with her family. Camping, Italian cooking and spa time in Calistoga on high on her list for favorite things to do.

Christina McLeod

Christina is a graduate of the College of Marin's dental assisting program and a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. She always goes the extra mile for our patients and her fellow team members. Born in Colombia and raised in Sonoma and Marin, Christina has previously worked in childcare, as a personal fitness trainer, and has also been a member of the elite Oakland Raiders cheerleading squad, the Raiderettes, performing at all Raiders home hames and many other special events. Christina enjoys the outdoors, fitness training, and of course sports -- as long as it's a Raiders game!

Dr. Maureen Valley

Dr. Maureen Valley brings over 17 years of experience as a specialist in orthodontic treatment and education. Dr. Valley completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara with high honors. She is a graduate of Harvard University where she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree (cum laude) and her Masters of Public Health degree. She received additional post-graduate training in orthodntics from Northwestern University, where she earned her Masters of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Valley's professional career has always combined private practice and graduate orthodontic education. From 1994 to 1998, she practiced orthodontics in the Boston area and was a Clinical Instructor at Harvard University School of Dentistry. From 1998 to present, she has practiced orthodontics in Marin County and has been an Associate Professor and Director of the Postgraduate Orthodontics Clinic at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. Valley was a pioneer with Invisalign, as she was one of the first orthodontists in the United States to treat patients with this new method. She has been an educational consultant to Align Technology, Inc., has lectured nationally to doctors and university residents on the subject, and has instructed and certified nearly 3000 dentists and orthodontists on the technique. Dr. Valley is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Dental Association, and the Marin County Dental Society. Dr. Valley is passionate about community service on a local and international level. In her community she is a strong supporter of dental education in the elementary schools and is a sponsoring business partner of the Dixie Children's fund. Dr. Valley is an active member of Rotaplast International, a non-profit humanitarian organization providing free reconstructive surgery and treatment to those with cleft lip and palate and related anomalies in developing countries. Dr. Valley resides in San Rafael with her husband Peter and their daughters Caroline and Claire.

Hiroko Falk

Valley Orthodontics if fortunate to have Hiroko sharing her happy energy and years of dental experience and serving others. She is everywhere in our office, from the treatment area to the lab and sterilization. Hiroko grew up in Japan and began her dental assisting career in Tokyo. After moving to the US, she attended the College of Marin. She is a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. Hiroko lives in Terra linda with her husband Andy Falk and their two children, Skylee and Sabrina, both students at Vallecito Elementary School. Hiroko enjoys spending time with her family time, bicycling, gardening and delighting her friends and family with Japanese cuisine.
