Helping to found MK Design in 2005 Ian comes from a background of large historic hillside residences and form driven building and bridge design. Focusing primarily on the residential design and general construction drawings of the firm he is the backbone of the plans placed before the city and owner. With his background he is able to bring a methodology to complex designs that allow for cheaper construction costs because of his structural engineering approach to design. Building materials, construction methods, software tools, Ian is constantly expanding his breadth of design capability, and is devoted to utilizing them for your project.
As a founder member of MK Design Ken is the front man for the firm. Clients immediately see his drive for their project from the moment they meet him. A skilled designer Ken specializes in commercial design, project exteriors and natural lighting with numerous national franchise commercial prototypes under his belt. His empathy and ability to communicate has granted him a near perfect success rate with planning commissions and councils across the state all of which he will bring to bear for your project.
