MMAC promotes a keen appreciation of the incredible diversity of the Canadian consumer market and helps marketers reach multicultural minority Canadian consumers with culturally sensitive, culturally relevant communications. MMAC's mandate is to set the standards for quality multicultural advertising, to establish marketing best practices and to increase understanding of the discipline of multicultural marketing to a diverse Canadian public among Canadian advertisers and marketers and to champion its growth nationally... As part of that effort we want to acknowledge and support the Call For Equity Open Letter initiated by industry professionals calling for better representation of Black, Indigenous and POC talent in Canada's advertising and marketing industry. We as an organization have signed it and we encourage all our members and others in the advertising industry to do so and follow through on those commitments... MMAC champions the cause of multicultural marketing in Canada.
