Our school is set on a spacious grounds. With approximately 38 students, we are a progressive school focusing on the whole child... The ‘competencies' for students to ‘Lead' are Collaboration, Communication, Character, Learner Agency, Ethics, Citizenship, Quality Thinking and Connectedness. The ‘competencies' matter because they support dispositions that will enable Nangiloc's learners to learn well now, and to go on learning throughout their lives. Over the past two years, Nangiloc has worked in partnership with the University of Melbourne and 32 other ‘first mover' schools on "changing the grammar of schooling". This has allowed the school to develop a set of metrics, capable of assessing and reporting the ‘competencies' to students, parents, and caregivers... At Nangiloc Colignan Primary School we offer our students a unique education in a welcoming community-minded and inspiring environment.
