Florence van den Bergh

Florence has extensive commercial and international management experience. She jointly launched a start-up Global marketing agency in New York where she was a Managing Partner for over 5 years. She was responsible for business development; consisting of assisting US companies entering the European market and vice versa; consulting European companies entering the US marketplace. Before that, she was a Marketing consultant, at a New York marketing company, helping key accounts on entering the global market with respect to their direct marketing strategies. Furthermore she has conducted several marketing and consultancy projects for the Dutch Consulate in Houston and the Dutch Tourist Office in New York

Jacob Willemsen - Founder

Jacob is the founder and partner of Newday International Inc. He has over ten years of experience with UN Procurement and the US market, and is co-founder of the yearly EU-UN Procurement Seminar, which he coordinated for the last six sequential years. Jacob successfully managed to promote the Dutch private sector with the United Nations in New York from $12 to $22 million in less than four years. He has a diverse network in and excellent knowledge of the procurement markets of the United Nations and the World Bank Group, as well as of the trade relations between the EU and US. Previously he served as UN and NGO Trade Officer at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York from 1997 - August 2001. Jacob holds an MS in Economics from the University of Amsterdam (International Economic Affairs, Finance & Marketing).

Maud Gosink

Maud holds a MS in International Economics & Economic Geography from the University of Utrecht. She is specialized in improving interaction between public authorities and private businesses, knowledge sharing within and between companies and government, and has conducted a number of market research projects in a diversity of international settings. She wrote publications for press, public, and politicians, she consulted on new legislation and acted as liaison between Dutch government and industry. Previous to joining New Amsterdam Trade & Consultancy in September 2008 Maud has worked for JFK International Air Terminal in New York and for the Platform Dutch Aviation in the Netherlands.

Ronald Simon

Ronald manages the Dutch office and has 20 years of practical experience in implementing technical projects in developing countries. He is specialized in projects in the field of: Vocational Training, Technical Education, Industrial Development, and Agricultural Development.
