Schörling's ambition is to transform all companies that we invest in to leaders in their respective markets. We do this by acting as a major shareholder and being represented in the companies' boards and nomination committees. The active board work is multifaceted. This may for example involve defining the company's business orientation and strategy, and creating the right capital structure for major investments, acquisitions and spin-offs. Perhaps the single most important task is to appoint the CEO... Schörling's role as an active owner is to create opportunities for companies to develop and become best in class. We believe in a long-term perspective, being cost-conscious, and building close relationships. And last, but not least, we believe in having focus on results.
