SOMA - Key Persons
Sunyoung is joining the Soma team as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. She graduated from the Humber College Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program with Dean's honours. Sunny is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health through acupuncture and TCM as well as by applying other modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, and Guasha. Sunny is also well versed in cosmetic acupuncture, facial cupping, and facial Guasha for anti-aging and various skin issues. She also likes to practice gentle needling. This delicate and softer acupuncture style is tolerable for those who dislike needles.
In her spare time, Sunny volunteers for the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation and offered TCM treatment, including acupuncture for individuals living with HIV as well as for a clinic in Brampton that treats Indigenous people. She has a strong passion for treatment of musculoskeletal issues, headache, pain and stress relief, women's health and an overall increase of immunity, longevity and boosting of energy.
