The Edgartown Company was established on May 4th, 1998 in the city of Edgartown on the island of Martha's Vineyard of the coast of Massachusetts. We are a small accounting firm serving a variety of business types across several different industries... How? By taking a Solution-Centered focus on all accounting issues. This is not to suggest that accounting is an 'interpretive' activity. Just the opposite: we strive to educate our clients about the standards the IRS and other government agencies hold them to... Well, it doesn't have to be. We believe the purpose of Accounting is to record the past so we may prepare for a brighter future. We look to the past to learn how to work more effectively and efficiently, to better manage our resources, clarify our vision, so as to create the best possible outcome.
