Arminda (Mindy) Snyder

Arminda " Mindy" is a choreographer and dance instructor with over ten years experience. Mindy has been training in the art of dance since she was three years old. She is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater to name a few. Mindy has won numerous regional and national titles throughout her competitive dance career. In 2009, she won the Silver Leo's Award at Jazz Dance World congress as a member of Oasis Dance Ensemble. As a choreographer, her style which is heavily influenced by Bob Fosse, has earned her many outstanding choreography awards. At age 17, she was awarded Young Choreographer of the Year and since then she has continued to obtain numerous awards on the dance circuit over the past decade. During the day, Mindy works as a Human Resource Director for multiple preschools. She is also the head of the dance program for Rainbow Child Development Center with several child care centers located throughout the State of Maryland. Mindy has worked in many aspects of the dance world. Not only has she taught competitive dance for nine years, she has also worked with nationally ranked high school dance teams, and has been an integral part of the administrative side of various dances studios as an Assistant Director and Student Company Director.

Michelle Smith - Founder

Michelle Smith is a choreographer from Severn, Md with 20 years of instructing experience. In 2005, she was a Radio City Rockette in New York City. She has won numerous regional and national awards through competitions, as well as the Maryland Distinguished Scholar Award for the Arts. Mrs. Smith was hired by Debbie Allen to perform at The Kennedy Center in the productions of "Dreams" and "Pearl". In the summer of 2004, Mrs. Smith assisted Joe Lanteri at the World Jazz Congress held in Costa Rica. She also traveled across the country with New York City Dance Alliance assisting such choreographers as Andy Blankenbuehler and Mia Michaels.
