Projects should be driven by the user, whether creating marketing content that changes their perspective or redesigning a workflow that makes their job easier... I'm known as the UX Lumberjack, mostly because I'm a big bearded guy with an affinity for plaid but I like it because it reminds me to not take myself too seriously... Every project begins with user research. Journey mapping, empathy mapping, and user personas all help to make informed design decisions.
