EXPERIENCE

The National Care Experience Programme was established in 2019 to improve the quality of health and social care services in Ireland by asking people about their experiences of care and acting on their feedback. It is a partnership between HIQA, the HSE and the Department of Health, with representatives of people using services providing their input at each stage of the programme. A three-year strategy has been developed for the period 2022 to 2024, which sets out a plan to develop and expand its programme of work over the next three years.
