Founder and CEO, Ray Milano, started 9Hammers as a referral network of vetted contractors. Growing up, Ray's family home bore the scars of a remodeling project gone bad. The contractors disappeared, and the family's money was gone. Throughout Ray's entire childhood, the family walked on carpet strips placed in hallways and around beds to avoid exposed plywood. Finally, in his 20s, Ray spent about 14 months renovating and finishing every square inch of the family home on his own. It was just after completion that Ray started building a referral network of qualified contractors so homeowners could avoid the same heartache his family endured. 9Hammers has taken on full-scale renovations and today, focuses solely on full-scale roofing, siding, windows, and decks.
