Our founder attended Pace University where she studied accounting and received a Bachelor's degree of Business Administration. Post-graduation, she worked in public accounting for 18 years in both New York and North Carolina, and went on to spend 13 years as a Controller in North Carolina. Lori became passionate about accounting upon her initial exposure to the industry. Lori's founded Anchored Accounting Solutions, LLC out of her desire to offer premier accounting and bookkeeping solutions at a reasonable rate. Lori helps clients with their accounting processes and procedures, so they can focus on managing the growth of their business. Lori worked for a startup company that grew to $30 million in revenue, ranked No. 163 on the Inc. 5000 list in 2007 and made the Inc. 5000 list for four consecutive years 2007-2010. Lori is a Certified Public Accountant, a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and QuickBooks is her accounting software of choice. Lori is currently working on obtaining certifications for third-party applications that seamlessly integrate and enhance the functionality of QuickBooks and can further streamline business processes.
