Diana Dinsmore is a senior executive with 30 years of leadership in areas focusing on financial/cost accounting and reporting, cash flow analysis and forecasting, budgeting, human resources/payroll, contract negotiations and administration, accounting process implementation and improvement, insurance administration and general office management. Diana previously served as President/CEO of her own company for 20 years where she provided outsourced Controller and management services to small-to-medium emerging companies throughout the U.S. During this time, her client list represented various industries including: capital projects consulting, real estate development, leasing and sales, residential and commercial construction, engineering, and equipment sales. Diana worked directly with executive leadership teams to provide the necessary financial process discipline and information needed to aid in the continued growth of the client organizations. Diana has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia and was a CPA in the State of Oklahoma from 1985-2006.
Emily consults on risk management and insurance solutions across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on technology, venture capital, and private equity risks. Emily previously worked as a cyber and technology insurance broker at one of the largest international brokers. Prior to that, Emily was practicing law, focusing on professional liability insurance defense. In addition to her Juris Doctor, Emily completed the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation and the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation. She is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri and has her Kansas insurance license.

Jake is a risk advisor and producer at Brush Creek Partners. In his role, Jake specializes in risk management and insurance for rapidly growing technology companies and their venture capital, private equity, family office investors. He offers extensive experience in professional liability, management liability, technology risk management, and due diligence, and cyber liability. In his free time, Jake enjoys playing golf, hunting, and rooting on the Texas A&M football team.
Maria Blando is a senior account manager on our technology team. Maria brings her tech-savvy and problem-solving skills along with several years of outstanding client service. Maria is earning her AINS designation and is specializing in cyber and technology coverage at Brush Creek. Maria graduated from Kansas State University with degrees in Human Services and Leadership. She applies these experiences for leadership and service inside and outside the organization.

Mike is a risk advisor at Brush Creek Partners. In his role, Mike consults on risk management and insurance solutions across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on emerging technology companies and their venture capital, private equity, and family office investors. He offers extensive experience in professional liability, management liability, technology risk management, due diligence, and cyber liability. In his free time, Mike enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Kansas City athletic teams, and playing with his two sons Leo and Benny.
Nathan is a serial entrepreneur and operations expert. He educates emerging and growth technology companies, venture capital and private equity fund managers in tech operations and risk mitigation. Prior to joining Brush Creek, Nathan was senior program officer at the Kauffman Foundation, focusing his work on venture capital education in support of the Kauffman Fellows Program. He also worked on effective entrepreneurial access to capital and growth resources, including financial support and mentoring for accelerators. https://www.
Spencer graduated from UMKC Bloch School of Business with a major in Business Administration and an emphasis in management. He is currently part of the Delta Sigma Pi Alumni chapter and district director for the Rockhurst collegiate chapter. In his role, Spencer is an account administrator for the technology team.
Stephen is an attorney who focuses on technology risk transfer for emerging and middle enterprise companies. His comprehensive work includes technology and traditional risk management for industries such as construction, manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality. He also runs the surety department and works with a number of tech and non-tech companies for their bonding needs.
Travis is recognized as a national expert on the contractual transfer of technology risk and matching insurance requirements to the risk transfer and runs the technology, venture capital, and cyber liability practice groups for bcp tech. His areas of expertise include professional liability, management liability, technology risk management and due diligence, and cyber liability. He has been published and speaks frequently to groups of professionals on different technology risk management topics. Travis is currently completing his cyber security risk mitigation certificate from Harvard University. Travis enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two young boys when he's not working. https://www.
