Corina Evans

Corina is the Chief of Staff at Capital Clarity. As Chief of Staff, Corina works closely with the founding partners and leadership team overseeing the firm's operations and administration. Corina brings more than 12 years of experience in business operations, people operations, communications and administrative management. Prior to joining Capital Clarity, she led fundraising and constituent engagement programs for several educational institutions. Corina holds an MBA and BA in English from Rollins College.

John A. Cooper - CEO

John Cooper is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC member FINRA / SIPC. Cooper is a Founder and Managing Partner of Capital Clarity. Prior to launching Capital Clarity, Cooper was Managing Director and Co-Head of the TMT practice at Houlihan Lokey, where he led the execution of numerous corporate finance activities in company sales, investments, recapitalizations and acquisitions across the technology sector. Cooper was a co-founder and Managing Partner with ArchPoint Partners, LLC, a partner-owned investment bank focused on providing strategic and financial advisory services to technology and software companies, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2014 after tremendous growth and development as an independent enterprise. Prior to founding ArchPoint, Cooper was TMT practice head for Montgomery & Co., where he sourced, evaluated and executed mergers and capital raises for growth companies in the software and technology sectors. Before joining Montgomery, Mr. Cooper was President of ThinkTank, a software company incubator funded by Softbank Before joining Softbank/Thinktank, Cooper held many senior roles in corporate development and strategy, as Senior Director of Corporate Development at Microsoft, HBO/McKesson, American Express and First Data Corporation - developing broad expertise in business and consumer software, healthcare technology and fintech domains. Cooper founded Halestreet Investments, and currently presides over that investment entity, with minority to majority invested positions in more than 10 private companies across the US. Cooper serves on the board of directors of several companies and is a frequent advisor to both corporate and private investors. He is also a co-founder of the Orlando Opportunity Fund. Mr. Cooper has also been a senior executive in multiple venture-backed technology companies which created liquidity and generated solid returns for investors and employees. Cooper holds a B.S. in Business and Finance from the University of Minnesota, and has completed post-graduate work in executive leadership at MIT. He is a frequent speaker for events in venture capital, corporate strategy, M&A and related subject areas. A deeply committed advocate for mental health support, services and research, Cooper has established both the Halestreet Foundation and the Dr. Daniel C. Cooper Endowment Fund at Brown University in support of this important work.

Kevin Hopkins - SVP

Kevin Hopkins is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC member FINRA / SIPC. Kevin is a Senior Vice President at Capital Clarity and has over 15 years of finance and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Capital Clarity, Kevin was a Vice President in the Merchant Banking Division of Opus Bank where he provided a broad range of M&A advisory, capital raising advisory and general financial advisory services to growth companies in the technology and healthcare sectors. Previously, Kevin was a Vice President at Dragon Global Management, a technology and digital media focused private equity firm where he managed all processes for potential and active investments, including evaluating new deals, leading business and industry due diligence, negotiating financing and transaction agreements and partnering with management teams to enhance operations, drive organic growth and make strategic acquisitions. Previously, Kevin was an institutional investor with Stanford Management Company where he helped invest and manage Stanford University's $29 billion endowment with a focus on investments in leading venture capital and private equity limited partnerships and direct technology investments. Kevin was also previously an Investor Relations Officer with Electronic Arts (EA), one of the world's largest entertainment software companies. Kevin began his career in the technology investment banking group of Citigroup Global Markets where he provided advisory and transaction execution services for mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures and capital markets transactions for clients in the software, Internet and semiconductor sectors of the technology industry. Kevin earned his MBA from the University of California Los Angeles and his BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Susan Blanco - CEO

Susan Blanco is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC member FINRA / SIPC. Susan is a Founder and Managing Partner of Capital Clarity. Susan's extensive experience in investment banking and private equity includes mergers, acquisitions, dividend recapitalizations, and public and private capital raising and equity issues. She has executed numerous transactions for public and private companies with leading private equity sponsors and venture capital firms, as well as strategic transactions with global corporations, including IBM, Hitachi, Intuit, McKesson, Verisk, Infineon, British Telecom, Sabre, Time, Constellation Software and Google. Prior to launching Capital Clarity, Susan was Managing Director and Head of West Coast Private Equity at SNH Capital, where she served on the board of directors for several portfolio companies, and led the execution of acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and dividend recapitalizations across the technology and technology-enabled services sectors. Before SNH she served as Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey's Technology Group where she provided strategic and financial advisory services to public and private companies in the technology, software and eCommerce sectors. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Susan was a co-founder and Managing Director of ArchPoint Partners, LLC, a boutique investment bank focused on providing strategic and financial advisory services to technology and software companies. Prior to founding ArchPoint, Susan worked for Montgomery & Co., where she sourced, evaluated and executed mergers and capital raises for growth companies in the software and technology sectors. Before joining Montgomery, she was a Managing Director at The NASDAQ Stock Market. Prior to that, she was a Vice President in investment banking at JPMorgan, where she executed several billion dollars in M&A transactions and equity and debt transactions with clients in the technology, media, and telecom sectors. Ms. Blanco started her banking career as an associate at Hambrecht & Quist. She has a technology operations background and worked in the storage industry in a variety of international and domestic business development roles. Susan holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. She speaks English and French and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She enjoys international travel, skiing, cooking, SoulCycle, Pilates, and can frequently be found at SFMOMA or the opera. Susan serves as a SkyDeck Advisor for the UC Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator program and volunteers her time to early stage companies. She is passionately committed to social impact in the Bay Area and serves on the Leadership Committee of Tipping Point Community and served on the board of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley from 2015 to 2021.

Travis Mahoney - SVP

Travis Mahoney is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC member FINRA / SIPC. Travis is a Senior Vice President at Capital Clarity and has extensive experience across sellside and buyside M&A, capital raises, private equity and public equity investing. Travis has been with Capital Clarity since its founding, leading transaction execution for clients across technology and healthcare IT sectors. Prior to Capital Clarity, Travis worked as a private equity investor for SNH Capital where he sourced and diligenced potential acquisitions of software and technology-enabled services businesses. He served as a board observer and worked closely with the leadership teams of SettlementOne, a mortgage technology platform, and Tomorrow Energy, an energy services provider. Before SNH Capital, Travis worked for Graham Partners, a middle-market private equity fund. While there, he diligenced acquisitions across a variety of manufacturing sectors including industrial technology, consumer products and aerospace components. Travis started his career as a public equity investor with Brandes Investment Partners, a global value investment fund. While there, he invested in businesses across technology, healthcare and financial institutions. Travis earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Finance from San Diego State University and is a CFA Charterholder. In his free time Travis spends time with his wife, son and French bulldog Murphy. He is a licensed pilot, enjoys surfing and snowboarding and occasionally makes hot sauce with peppers from his garden.
