Brad joined Shea & Company in 2007, has over 12 years of experience working with software companies and leads up the Firm's IT Security coverage efforts.
Prior to joining Shea & Company, Brad spent three years with Debt Advisors Group, a Boston-based advisory firm, where he arranged financing for privately held companies in the technology and biotech sectors. Brad has completed transactions with leading strategic acquirers including BMC, Check Point, HPE, IBM, Informatica, j2 Global, Kofax, LANDesk, LogMeIn, Microsoft, NetApp, Oracle, Quest and Salesforce.com among others.

Michael has worked with emerging and established software companies for almost 25 years as a banker, an equity research analyst and a trusted advisor.
Prior to founding Shea & Company, Michael served as Head of Infrastructure Software for JPMorgan and a predecessor organization, Hambrecht & Quist, based in San Francisco with global coverage responsibility. Michael is known for the depth of his client relationships and analytical but consultative manner; he has built his practice through working closely with management, owners and investors on strategy formulation and transaction execution related to complex issues.

Michael joined Shea & Company in 2012, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking and software.
Prior to joining Shea & Company, Michael was a Managing Director and Head of the San Francisco office for the Morgan Keegan Technology Group, which he joined via the acquisition of Revolution Partners. Michael had previously served as an executive in IBM's WebSphere Division, which he joined through IBM's acquisition of Trigo Technologies, which Michael helped build to profitability and $40MM in revenue. Michael has also worked in the technology M&A practices of Credit Suisse, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Morgan Stanley.

He also formerly ran East Coast software and E-commerce investment banking for Robertson Stephens. Peter was named to Investor Dealers' Digest's and Boston Business Journal's "40 Under 40" lists, and has been quoted extensively in the press in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and CNBC. Peter holds an MBA from the Wharton School and received a BA with honors from Hamilton College.
