NORTH DEVON HOSPICE

We are a local charity providing specialist care and support to people who are affected by a life-limiting illness. Although many of our patients have cancer, we also care for people who have other life-limiting illnesses too, such as Motor Neurone Disease, Heart Failure and COPD, among others. Our patients and their families are at the heart of everything we do... We have been offering care and support to local people who are affected by a life-limiting illness since 1984. We started with a single Community Nurse, covering the entire North Devon area. We now care for around 3,000 people every year, offering specialist care to patients at home and at the hospice, while supporting the whole family throughout these toughest of times... We cover one of the largest geographical areas of any hospice in the UK, covering over 800 square miles.
