Caroline Porter - Founder

Caroline has over 25 years' experience in the field of children, young people and family services as both a practitioner and a leader. Starting her career in the field of criminal justice and victim support before specialising in youth justice and restorative approaches. She successfully led teams within children's centres and latterly in early help and prevention services. She is a highly skilled trainer and facilitator with a specialism in relationships based practice. She established Foxstones in 2019. She has a BA in Social Policy and Criminology and a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management Caroline is happiest out of doors, in her wellies with her dogs!

Emma Ansell

Job Titles:
  • Associate Evaluator
Emma has worked as the Bradford based Research Project Manager for ActEarly since 2022. She previously worked for Born In Bradford as an Evaluation Facilitator at the Innovation Hub, writing evaluations on the performance of Better Start Bradford projects and as a Research Assistant, recruiting participants into research. Emma also has a background in Children's Social Care and Early Help, SEND and psychology, completing her MSc at the University of Bradford in 2016 and she completed her AFT Systemic Social Work qualification from the Centre for Systemic Social Work in 2020. Emma believes in system change and early interventions to promote a healthier, fairer future for children living in deprived areas. In her spare time she enjoys walking up big hills and taking photos.

Tracy Hopkins

Tracy has over 30 years' experience as a practitioner and leader in children's services and early years education. Starting her career in special education before specialising in early years education and care. She successfully led teams within children's services. She is a confident, experienced tutor and assessor specialising in family learning and supporting apprenticeships/post 16 learners. Tracy enjoys travelling, walking and sings in her local community choir!
