VINCENT GANGEMI FUNERAL HOME - Key Persons

Edward McKeown

So Sorry to hear the news about Al. Al and I were both drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War and sent to Fort Jackson S.C. for Basic Training. After that we were both sent to Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland and spent the rest of our time there. After Army life, I returned to my previous job at Philadelphia Electric Co. After a short time, my supervisor there asked me if I know someone by the name Al Caporali, and I replied ''SURE I DO'' and after forty plus years its been quite a ride! We were good friends.

condolences to Dottie and Al's family. I worked with Al many years at PECO and we all enjoyed Al. He worked hard ,and was a joy to be around. His knowledge of stocks and the financial world was amazing and he taught us all a lot. We sometimes lunched at Davincies and still have fun memories of those times. In recent years I would see Al at our Christmas luncheons and was always so happy when he would attend. I will miss him. Ken Smith
