HEALTHCARE LITIGATION CONSULTANTS - Key Persons
Prior to joining Healthcare Litigation Consultants, Dr. Bruce Perlman practiced medicine for 39 years. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has extensive experience with both in-patient and out-patient medicine. Dr. Perlman was in private practice for over 27 years and practiced as a Hospitalist or Hospitalist Director for another 12 years. He also served as Medical Director of an Accountable Care Organization and Medical Director of a hospital's Clinical Integration Department.
Dr. Perlman has always been interested in medicine's overlap with the law. For more than 25 years, he has provided medical consultations and expert testimony for both Plaintiff and Defense attorneys. He has also used his healthcare expertise to aid health insurance companies and other healthcare entities.
Dr. Perlman graduated from the University of Illinois with the highest of honors and distinction, including being a James Scholar and member of honor societies Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. He is a graduate of Chicago's Rush Medical College and fulfilled his residency requirements at Cook County Hospital, also in Chicago.
Dr. Perlman and his wife Toni have three sons and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing.
