INHAT main focus is toward development, we believe in following a process that creates growth, progress and positive change in the physical, spiritual, economic, environmental, social and demographic component of each of our partners supported programs... Today over 68 million people have been forcibly displaced and in need of basic aid and at times we have a duty to respond to this. We understand that aid is only short-lived and we believe a focus on local development will provide long term sustainability for individuals and communities... We believe in equality amongst all groups and freedom from discrimination. Girls and women in many countries are often viewed and treated as second class citizens. Whilst this attitude is changing in a lot of urban centres, in many rural communities, these views still persist. Many families view educating women as unnecessary and are therefore unwilling to spend money on formal education for their daughters. Often women are expected to begin work..
