The demand for technical textiles and sustainable solutions is constantly increasing. However, textiles made from sustainable raw materials are often not as durable as their competitors made from fossil oil. The SNF coating method, developed at the University of Zurich, could be an economically realisable way of upgrading sustainable textiles.
